Hall of Fame
The following MHS graduates have been inducted in the Hall of Fame.
AP Studio Art students have been working tirelessly for the past 7 months to produce 24 pieces of art worthy of a professional portfolio. Media ranges from the more traditional: acrylic, watercolor, photography, marker, and colored pencil to the more experimental: practical effects (makeup, prosthetics, props), digital art, and mixed media (cardboard, leaves on shoes, cut paper).
Please congratulate the following students (in order of appearance on the poster) in class and by attending their final show:
Kitana Wert, Lydia Carrillo, Alexis Ramirez, Allie Pope, Malia Riggs, Jose Perez Quinchuela, Lacey Rodney, Sabrina Riff, James Snyder, Mya Clover, Owen Binkard, Marisa Clark, Chloe Zinda, and Sunset Jones
Grain Station: 8th and Alpine
Will run from May 9-23
Finals are June 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for seniors and June 5th, 8th, 9th and 10th for under class men. If a student is absent from finals, they will follow the regular procedures when a student is absent. Which is as follows: A parent/guardian needs to call in, send a note, or e-mail the attendance office to excuse the absence (503-565-4208). Also, the student would need to visit with their teacher concerning their Pre-Arranged Absence and arrange a time to make up the final. This is coordinated between teacher and student. NO additional form or permission is needed.
