Upperclassmen…..your help is needed
We are establishing a new tradition for football games at MHS called, “Own the Rail”. Increasing school spirit and creating a loud, boisterous and unified student body section in the stadium grandstand will help make our football games similar to what students and players experience during basketball games in the Furnace. So, the first 25 upperclassmen through the gates and on the rail (north end of the grandstand…lower section) will be given a free t-shirt (color, theme and game specific). Additional t-shirts will be thrown to the crowd by cheerleaders throughout the game, as well as raffled off on Friday.
Free Breakfast/Lunch For All Students
We are pleased to inform you that the McMinnville School District will be participating in a one year pilot option for our school breakfast and lunch program funded by the USDA Child Nutrition Program.
This new option, called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) is only available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
This will be a one year pilot program for the 2014-2015 school year. The program may continue past the pilot year if there is strong meal participation. | Complete information
