Echoes in the Hallway| 100 Years
MHS as it appeared in 1910. It stood at the corner of 12th and Baker before meeting the wrecking ball sometime later and the strip mall progress of Shari’s, the Liquor Store, and The Dollar Tree. I like its stateliness, its lines and arches. It looks like a school of character, and so too the students who haunted its interior over the years. Story by Don Witten
