Congratulations Mark Hinthorn
Mark, MHS athletic director, was recently awarded the National Federation of High School's Spirit of the Sport Award, for the State of Oregon. Mark stated the following:
"I am honored to be this year's recipient of the NFHS Spirit of the Sport award. I was very surprised to learn that the OSAA had nominated, and subsequently selected me for this award. I love serving as our school's athletic director and attribute this honor to the exceptional support staff that I am blessed to work with, along with the support of my fellow administrators. Supporting the athletes and coaches involved in the 18 athletic programs and various activities at MHS brings me constant enjoyment and I'm proud to be a part of Grizzly Nation! I look forward to continuing to build our athletic department into one of the finest in Oregon and appreciate the collaboration with our sports boosters (MAC Club), Unified Sports /Special Olympics Oregon, the Greater Valley Conference schools, local business partners, the Oregon Athletic Directors Association and the OSAA, all of whom help make this possible".
